In the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence chatbots, Google has entered the fray with its upgraded contender, Google Bard. This move intensifies the competition with major players such as Meta, Microsoft, Snap, and xAI. While ChatGPT has achieved global recognition, recent enhancements to Google Bard, particularly the introduction of the Gemini AI model, have positioned it as a formidable competitor.

Google Bard’s Evolution:

Google Bard now relies on the powerful Gemini Pro AI model, showcasing significant improvements in mathematics and physics. According to benchmark tests conducted by Google, this model outperformed OpenAI’s GPT-4, excelling in 30 out of 32 benchmarks spanning reasoning, math, reading comprehension, and Python code generation. The upcoming release, “Bard Advanced,” promises multi-modal capabilities, enabling the generation of outputs in images, video, and audio formats. ChatGPT’s Legacy:

Ernie, created by Baidu, serves as China’s counterpart to ChatGPT. Operating on the Ernie 3.0-Totan and PLATO models, Ernie boasts multi-modal capabilities, allowing users to engage with the AI service through both text and images in prompts and responses.
